An elegant highly polished jet black Louis XV style antique fireplace in Belgian Black Marble. The moulded serpentine shelf is set above the panelled frieze, which is centred by a carved Rococo style foliate and clam shell cartouche, flanked by shell and bell flower endblocks, supported on angled, scrolled and panelled console jambs terminating in large acanthus detail above curved footblocks.
