A decorative Louis XV lightly veined Carrara Marble Rococo fireplace surround with a shaped and moulded shelf above a serpentine frieze centred by a large shell cartouche with trailing bell flowers, flanked by ornate angled endblocks above panelled jambs with scrolled acanthus feet resting on plain footblocks. French, late 19th century.
