A small and sophisticated antique fireplace mantel in Giallo di Sienna marble
with trefoil cloverleaf central cartouche and quatrefoil endblocks, under an attractively moulded shelf over descending clover leaves on panelled jambs
in the Belle Epoque manner.
French, possibly Italian, late 19th century (photo before restoration).
