A large pair of andirons modelled as female terms in the guise of temple attendants in the Egyptian Revival manner - after a late 18th century design by Thomas Hope.
These andirons currently do not have a back bar so can be used as decorative objects, or a back bar of an appropriate size can be made in our workshops if required.
English, circa 1810.
Shown with 18" swans nest basket but available separately in various sizes.
