Stock No.16522
A fine and large Irish William IV convex mirror. The original convex plate is enclosed within a reeded slip, which is bordered by an ornate giltwood frame which is mounted with acanthus scrollwork, bunches of grapes, a sunflower and twin candleholders. Most unusually, the surmount depicts a stag resting under an oak tree. Mounted with wired girandoles.
