A 20th century Baroque style brass lantern after the Versailles model. The crown corona, resting above a two tiered gallery embossed with medallions and acanthus leaves, holds the forty bevelled glass panels arranged in four tiers. The lantern terminates in a leaf detailed band above six grotesque masks and a reverse pineapple finial.
