A small but delightfully ornate Victorian cast iron fireplace surround. The high moulded shelf, above a reeded panel, surmounts the shaoed frieze decorated with a profusion of birds, sprigs, stylised flowers and berries. The integral grate sits within an arched frame of cross hatching and paterae.English, circa 1870.
