A fine George III period mahogany silver table, in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. This table has a beautiful colour and patina, the figured mahogany rectangular top with plain gallery is set over a finely pierced fretwork frieze and spandrels of scrolling acanthus leaf, supported on square legs with block feet, which retain their original brass castors, these are separated by the arching, x-form fretwork stretcher, decorated with further scrolling acanthus leaf decoration, all centred with a single turned finial.
