A decorative brass fireplace insert in the Neoclassical style with cornucopia and scrolling fronds on the frieze, entwined sprigs rising from urns on the jambs, beaded panels and a frame of rod twist edging. Shown with it's original patina but it can be polished. French, mid 19th century.
